This pink sugar cookie frosting recipe with almond extract is addicting and it is the perfect companion to my sugar cookie recipe.
5 cups powdered sugar
2 sticks of butter
3-4 tablespoons milk
1-2 teaspoons almond extract
1 drop red food coloring
In a medium bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar together. Add 3 tablespoons of milk, the almond extract and the red food coloring and combine well. Add another tablespoon of milk if needed for desired consistency.
Frost sugar cookies liberally. Store cookies in a covered container.
